"...an experience of the phenomenal capacity of our birthing body can give us an enduring sense of our own power as women. Birth is the beginning of life, the beginning of mothering, and fathering. We all deserve a good beginning."

- Sarah J. Buckle

Alicia had three empowering water-birth experiences with HypnoBirthing¬ģ, but what moved Alicia to become a Professional HypnoBirthing¬ģ Doula¬†was to listen to the distressing birth stories of other moms. She wanted to support positive childbirth experiences with as many women as possible.

Alicia with Marie Mongan and Dr Alejandro Pliego

Alicia is deeply committed to her role as a doula. She focuses on creating deep connections between parents and their unborn babies, emphasizing not just the physical preparation for childbirth but also the mental and emotional well-being of her clients. Her approach as a doula is characterized by empathy, understanding, and support for expectant mothers, integrating the principles of Prenatal Bonding (BA) and HypnoBirthing¬ģ into her practice.

Alicia's expertise in HypnoBirthing¬ģ has not only benefited her clients but also the HypnoBirthing¬ģ community at large. Her contributions to the HypnoBirthing¬ģ Institute are significant. The video of her second birth is part of the HypnoBirthing¬ģ curricula, and her voice narrates the Spanish version of the Institute's relaxations and affirmations.

Why should parents invest in prenatal education?

Getting physically, emotionally, and psychologically ready for the birth of your baby is very important. Birthing is a unique moment in your life and the life of your baby; It will create an imprint in you, your partner, and your baby for the rest of your life.
